Refunds
Final dates for refunds when withdrawing from classes are stated in the online Schedule of Classes. A service charge of $10 will be deducted for processing refunds for complete withdrawal of all classes.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
Payments can be made by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express or check via NEIUport. A 2.50% ($3 minimum) convenience fee will be applied to all credit/debit card payments made to your student account online or in person. Starting February 23, 2024, the convenience fee for domestic card transactions was increased to to 2.95% and the convenience fee for international card transactions increased to 4.25%.
Fee-free payment options are: electronic check (ACH), cash (in person) and personal/cashier check via mail or in person. Once you register as a student, you are responsible for the full amount due regardless of any subsequent additions in credit hours, unless you officially drop by the appropriate refund deadline. If you are unable to pay your tuition in full at the time you make your initial payment, you may select the Deferred Payment Plan. A $10 fee will automatically be added to your account on September 7, 2024, for the Full and First 8-Weeks fall session, October 5, 2024, for the Second 8-Weeks fall session.
