Minor in Neuroscience (21-22 credit hours)

A minor in neuroscience will equip you with in-depth understanding of brain function, behavior, and neurobiological processes through coursework in both biology and psychology.

The Neuroscience Minor has a set of four required courses and two electives. Required courses are General Psychology (PSYC 200), Statistics And Research Methods I (PSYC 202), General Biology I (BIO 201), and Cell Biology (BIO 301). Elective courses include one additional course in psychology and one additional course in biology. For the biology elective, select Neurobiology (BIO 365), Sensory Mechanisms (BIO 380H), or choose another appropriate biology elective in consultation with an advisor. For the psychology elective, select Physiological Psychology (PSYC 350), Neuropsychology (PSYC 371), Human Perception (PSYC 373), or choose another appropriate psychology elective in consultation with an advisor.
